Cyclone CollectorsInstalair manufacture and install high efficiency cyclones with associated product storage bins, screw conveyors, rotary valves and support structures. Cyclones are available for individual air quantities from 300 litres / second upward. Cyclones can be made from all types of materials ranging from 1.5mm mild steel up to heavy wear resistant products, depending on the specific application. Cyclone collectors are suitable for most applications and they require no compressed air or filter media, making them virtually maintenance free. Instalair can design and manufacture collectors to reduce the risks involved with explosive materials, and with proper installation, can vent an explosion if it occurs. APPLICATIONSFor handling heavy dust loads, dusts containing coarse/fine particles, dusts from high sparking sources, and as a first stage collector for coarse particles upstream from a media filter.
